The new Bandstand in Bedale Hall park was officially opened by the Mayor, Christine Mollard, and Guy Stanniland, who had donated the money for the construction, on Sunday 6th September.  The sun shone and a large crowd enjoyed the music from Bedale Brass Band and Leyburn Brass Band.
