A team of 8 volunteers (+dog) from the Coop picked up 10 bags of litter from 150m of one side of the A684 in Aiskew – that’s one bag for every 15m! Very many thanks to them

The new Bandstand

The new Bandstand in Bedale Hall park was officially opened by the Mayor, Christine Mollard, and Guy Stanniland, who had donated the money for the construction, on Sunday 6th September.  The sun shone and a large crowd enjoyed the music from Bedale Brass Band and Leyburn Brass Band.
