Just a few miles on from Bedale is the pretty village of Crakehallcrakehall1 Noted for a five-acre village green with its giant sycamores and lime trees, it is dominated by Crakehall Hall and is enclosed by stone built
cottages dating back to the 1750’s.

Crakehall is home to a fabulous working watermill that offers a B&B.  Take some time, have a pinic, watch a cricket match and soak up the village life.
