The Archaeology of the A1 Leeming to Barton:  Further Up the Road, by Helen Maclean, Technical Director – Archaeology, Environment and Ground Engineering at AECOM.
It will cover some of the background to what goes into the preparation of a such a scheme, a number of key sites (including Little Holtby) and what happens during post-excavation.
By special arrangement the Museum will be open between 6.30 and 7.30 pm so you can see (or have another look at) the special exhibition Cataractonium – Life in a Roman town before the talk starts, at the usual time of 7.30 pm.
