Racing through Bedale

The comes through the centre of Bedale on Saturday 5 May. It will be a great place to watch the bikes in action and then follow the race on a big screen.

There will be live entertainment and you can enjoy food and drink from around the world – from local gin to African cuisine – from 10am to 6pm.

Bedale Hall park is a great place to watch the cyclists go past as it is raised above the road and there will be free parking nearby.

You can watch the start in Richmond at 13.10 on the big screen.  The ‘caravan’ should pass through Bedale at about 11.25 and the race comes through at about 14.00.

After the excitement of the peloton passing by – and managing to get round White Bear corner without falling off – you can settle down to watch the rest of the race and take advantage of the food and drink stalls to create your picnic.

And on Sunday you don’t have to go far to watch stage 4 as it comes through Masham.
